Fly in fly out Tibet tour 4 days begins your whirlwind journey to Tibet with a thrilling flight over the snowcapped silver-grey Himalayan Mountains past Mt. Everest, Makalu, and the Kangchanjunga peaks. The adrenaline just rushes through your body as you get to view these mountains real close-up & almost within touching distance; right from the windows of your jet.

There will be 3 flights in a week usually from May to September i.e. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and it’s possible to have 2 days or a 2 weeks trip based on a round trip flight.

In Lhasa visit the famous Potala and Norbulingkha palaces, the great Drepung Monastery, and Jokhang Temple, and walk amongst the local folks in the crowded Tibetan markets – the bustling Barkhor Bazaar and experience the Tibetan Plateau's stunning landscapes, making them ideal for travellers with limited time.

The tours often include a combination of flights and overland drives, providing both scenic aerial views and close-up encounters with the region's famous landmarks.

Arrive in Lhasa (3,650m) Gonggar Airport, Meet our Tibetan guide and  Drive to the hotel (1.5-hour drive). 90km Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. Evening stroll around the hotel area (if feeling comfortable).

After breakfast, we set for exploration of Lhasa city, the capital of Tibet. Sera monastery is the second largest Gelupa monastery located in the north suburb of Lhasa, which was built in 1419.
Likewise, we visit Jokhang temple, one of the oldest temple in Tibet which was built by the 33rd king Sontsanganbu in the 7th century. We also explore ancient Barkhor Street, the middle pilgrimage circuit around Jokhangtemple.
After breakfast, we proceed to visit Potala Palace and Norbulingka. Potala, the winter palace of Dalailama was built in 7th century by Tibetan king Sotsen Gampo. It was reconstructed by the 5th Dalai Lama to the present size in 17th century.
Norbulingka was built in 18th century by the 17th Dalailama and the Jewel Park was the Dalai Lama’s summer palace which covers 100 acres land with palace, pavilions and a zoo.
Today guided tour to the Drepung Monastery, Drepung Monastery was built approximately 8 km to the West from Lhasa's Old Town. It was established in 1416 by Jamyang Choje, the disciple of Tsongkhapa the founder of the Gelug sect of Buddhism.
The complex soon attracted many monks and turned into an important educational center.This monastery is extended to an area of 250,000 square meters that houses 10,000 monks in total and possessed 141 fazendasand 240 pastures in its heyday.
In the afternoon drive back to the hotel and free evening.
After breakfast drive back to the Gonggor Airport for the flight back to Kathmandu.
Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and free evening.
