Nagarkot Known for panoramic sunrise views of the Himalayas, including the Annapurna, Langtang, and Everest ranges on clear days. It also offers sunset views and opportunities for cultural exploration in nearby villages like Changunarayan and Sankhu

  • After breakfast, we proceed for full day of sightseeing of Patan and Boudha Nath stupa. The Kathmandu valley is divided into three major cities Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. All of those major three cities have its own different royal Durbar Squares which are constructed in the time of the 15th – 18th centuries, various temples and shrines dedicated to different Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
  • All of Royal Palace Square and its surroundings are good specimen of ancient Newari architecture. Hinduism and Buddhism have co-existed here for ages. They are all enlisted in prestigious status of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Besides Durbar Square in Kathmandu, Boudhanath large Stupa is one of the biggest and the oldest Buddhist shrine in Nepal.
  • Our exploration of the heritage of the medieval cities of Kathmandu valley shall begin today. The heart of the ancient city, Kathmandu Durbar Square is famous for the ancient Royal Palace with several courtyards in the inner complex and other interesting temples with intricate carvings and monuments in the outer complex. The house of Goddess Kumari, worshipped as the Living Goddess, Bhairav Temple, Taleju Temple, and others, almost all built-in pagoda-style from 15th to 18th century.
  • Today’s destination is the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. With four distinct squares (Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Pottery Square, and Dattatreya Square), Bhaktapur Durbar Square houses many ancient and artistically significant monuments. 55 window palace built in 1427 AD, Batsala Temple and Nyatapola Temple, beautiful and richly molded specimen of Golden Gate embellished with mythical creatures, Lion’s Gate is some of the attractions of this huge complex. This ancient complex very well preserves ancient arts and architecture as well as the traditional lifestyle, festivals, rituals, and cuisine. This gives important insight into the history and richness of this medieval-aged royal city.
  • In the evening return back to the hotel.
  • On the first day, you will be driven from Kathmandu to Sundarijal, which takes about an hour. From there, you will start your trek towards Chisapani. The trail goes through a beautiful forest of oak and rhododendron trees and offers stunning views of the valley and the Himalayan ranges.
  • You will also cross several small streams and waterfalls along the way. After a 5-6 hour walk, you will reach Chisapani, where you will spend the night.You will also cross several small streams and waterfalls along the way.   • On the second day, you will continue your trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot. The trail goes through beautiful villages, terraced farmland, and dense forests of pine and oak trees.
  • You will also cross several ridges, which offer spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. Nagarkot is a popular hill station that offers panoramic views of the sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas. You will spend the night in Nagarkot.
  • On the third day, you will hike from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel. You can view the priceless sunrise from Nagarkot on your descend to Dhulikhel and capture the moment. The trail goes through beautiful forests, terraced farmland, and traditional villages.
  • You will also pass through the Nala Bhanjyang pass, which offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills. Dhulikhel is a beautiful town known for its ancient temples and Newari architecture. You will spend the night in Dhulikhel.
  • On the last day of the trek, you will hike from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha. The trail goes through beautiful villages and farmland and offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. Namobuddha is a sacred Buddhist site known for its monastery and stupa.
  • After exploring Namobuddha, you will drive back to Kathmandu, which takes about two hours. You will then be transferred to a 3-starred hotel in Kathmandu where you can refresh yourself and enjoy your evening.
  • You will be transferred to the airport according to your flight schedule 3 hours before flight time and good bye.
